'Enlightened' is an offbeat series written by Mike White and starring Laura Dern as Amy, a self-destructive health and beauty executive who has a very public workplace meltdown. After three months of contemplation and meditation at a treatment center in Hawaii, Amy returns rested and ready to pick up the pieces of her old life and reshape the world she left behind.
GAME CHANGE
Based on Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s 2010 book about the 2008 elections, Game Change follows the Arizona senator’s presidential bid from the time of his selection of then-Alaska Gov. Palin as his running mate to their November defeat.
HEMINGWAY AND GELLHORN
The film traces the pair’s stormy five-year marriage, which culminates with their tandem coverage of the Spanish Civil War. Gellhorn, a novelist and highly respected war correspondent, met Hemingway in a bar in Key West and, legend has it, provided the inspiration for For Whom the Bell Tolls.
